The Shin with cheese and egg - tho it's usually more egg drop than a fried egg - is totally a widespread dish in Korea! You can find it in any fast/snack food restaurant. You were pretty close with the name! It's actually called 신계치 - shingyechi. Shin for shin ramen, gye from gyeran meaning egg, chi from chijeu aka cheese. So, shin egg cheese. Somehow those old ladies in the snack shops can make instant noodles way better than you can ever get them at home...

The jang is gochujang is pronounced like j-ah-ng. Usually you wanna put a slice of american cheese in the pot while the noodles are still cooking. Same with the egg. Still was probably delicious tho.

the ramen omelette is actually pretty common. but making it a cheese sandwich is actually inchresting.

I suggest using less water for the ramyun, and add the gochujang into the water first, then let it simmer and THEN add the noodles, cover it for a minute, then add the raw egg on top. Let the egg and cheese cook on top of the noodles, or you can even mix the egg into the noodles as they are cooking. I also suggest just a dash of oyster sauce into the cooking water. Just for a touch of sweetness if you like that.

Omg... Who thaught you that recipe? It is not real korean style and It looks very salty lol We don't put any gochujang in ramen, and the egg usually put in a pot when it becomes boiling not grilling it on the frypan. There are various kinds of recipe. So It may exist someone cooking ramen like this recipe and it may taste good, but I hope you to try the original korean style ramen. I'm sure you will not fail and it will be better than added gochujang with grilled egg.
